Subject : Launch of CCTV ( Live Coverage of cremation ) in Antim Niwas ( Cremation Ground )

We are very happy to inform you that, for the first time , in Northern India CCTV( live coverage ) have been installed at the cremation ground Antim Niwas , situated at Sector 94, Noida.

This will help people, who for unavoidable circumstances , are not able to attend the last rites of their near and dear ones. With this facility people across the world can view the last rites being performed at Antim Niwas , through internet.

All this has been possible with the Vision and Cooperation of Noidaites.

A formal launch of CCTV facilityhas been done on 7 th September, Sunday at 10.30AM at Antim Niwas, Sector 94, Noida. Area MP, MLA, CEO Noida Authority, DM, and members of civil society are expected to attend the programme.

A small write up on the operation of live coverage

Digital video system is capable of recording, display and transmit video over internet.

The XO DVR is the main unit which connects with cameras, monitors and internet.

Using MS Explorer 6 or higher version one can watch the video remotely anywhere in the world.

The DVR system being installed will connect 16 numbers of CCTV cameras with PTZ ( plan Tilt Zoom camera ) control. DVR has VGA and Video output to monitor live image and PTZ movement control. DVR operates with the help of Optical mouse.

For video monitoring from remote location we connect DVR with the internet which requires static IP and high speed internet connection ( minimum 256 kbps ) .

Remote client end connectivity - At the remote client end the requirement is internet connection with MS explorer 6 or above. For accessing , we will provide user id and password to the person for accessing the specified camera. As and when the person wants to view the operation in progress he has to enter the DVR IP address in the browser ( eg. 202.58.69.271 ).

The user login page will appear on the screen. User has to enter the user name in account and the password and click on the live video option , a new browser window will appear .

At the first run it will ask to install active X control.. It will allow your browser to download and one can see live audio – video images.

COURSE ON SPOKEN ENGLISH AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

Under the aegies of Noida Lok Manch a course on English speaking for the benefit of the people irrespect of age and formal academic standard of participants is under progress.

The 1 st batch comprising 15 participants was launched in the month of March 2007 ( March - May ). The participants were mostly graduates and professionally qualified such as MA, CA, B Tech, Management students. The participants had good education but from rural area / government school background, for whom getting job into MNC / organization of repute was a dream. After undergoing the 3 months course in English speaking, they have been able to improve communication skill and more than 60% of the participants secured jobs in professionally managed Company. Certificates were distributed to successful candidates by Shri Prabhat Kumar Ex Cabinet- Secretary, Government of India.

The second batch ( July - Sept. ), comprising 15 participants of diverse background and educational background such as housewife, PG degree holder in Science, Social Sciences and Commerce. The course is conducted by Dr Neeraja Upadhyay Ex - HOD, English, Apeejay School, Noida.

The third batch course has commenced from 19th December, 2008. Such has been the success of the earlier two courses that within a few days of announcement of the programme, 30 students have already been enrolled.

Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11.30 PM upto 1.30 PM.
